Floor pan modified to make room for exhausts to be tucked up above the level of the bottom of the chassis rails.
New brackets were needed for where the handbrake cable outer sheaths met the floor pan.
New seat belt fixing were needed on the transmission tunnel, as the original Cortina ones were on a bracket on the seat runners..
The main floor pan was stripped, treated, primed and painted matt black.
The engine and car meet for the first time.
The engine is to be mounted by an engine plate.
